There really is nothing to add on this 12th anniversary of 9/11. The day itself was horrible. The after-effects in New York, when everyone was extra kind and considerate to one another, was remarkable.
So on this anniversary of that day we can’t forget, I give you this performance of Leonard Cohen reciting the words to “A Thousand Kisses Deep” which, some say, is about accepting your path whatever it is, just like we have to accept 9/11 and move forward. They say he changes the words in concert depending on his mood; I like this version and I hope you enjoy it. It’s magic to me.
